I feel like everybody is going to Barcelona at the moment, and after visiting, I can really see why. It's definitely one of my favourite cities, the city itself is so beautiful and full of amazing architecture, and the fact that there's a beach right next to it as well is a winner in my book. I visited Barcelona at the end of June/beginning of July for five days with my friends from university, and we had the most amazing time! Carry on reading to see what we got up to.

Hello dolls! I know, I know, it's been so long since I last wrote a blogpost. I've literally been having the best (and craziest) summer of my life. I've been away altogether for about six weeks, so the blog has had to take a backseat for a while. But now I'm back, and I want to fill you all in on everything I've been doing before I get back to my final year at university. At the beginning of summer I went to Parklife festival - it feels like it was ages ago now but I thought I'd show you some pictures and my outfits from the weekend.

Last month, my friend Grace and I went inter-railing through Eastern Europe from the 17th of June until the 3rd of July. I thought I would tell you about what we did, in case some of you are interested, and also so I can look back on this in future and remember. We had such an amazing time, and I would have loved to have stayed even longer. In the time we were there we visited Berlin, Munich, Prague, Budapest, Vienna, Ljubljana and Venice. In this post I'll be talking about our experiences in Berlin, Munich and Prague.

Dress - Topshop
Shoes - River Island
Lipstick - Creme Cup & Snob by MAC

Last weekend I visited one of my best friends from University in her home town - Newcastle. I'd never been to Newcastle before, and I was so excited (even though it took me three hours to get up there). I went up Friday to Monday, and had the most amazing time! On the first night we went for a lovely meal with her parents which was honestly BEAUTIFUL. We ordered beer battered onion rings which were huge, I wish I'd taken a picture. Anyway, we went into Newcastle city centre that night and visited some of the gay clubs and bars, which was so much fun! I had a really really fun time meeting lots of Grace's friends, it was such a laugh (even if my feet were KILLING by the end of the night, it was so worth it). I wore this dress from Topshop which I bought the other weekend, I really love the style of it and I think it looks quite classy, the colour of the dress definitely matches the shoes, and I've been waiting to wear these for weeks!

On the second day we were pretty tired from the night before, but in the morning we visited some of Grace's family for her cousin's birthday which was really lovely. That night we went to a place more local to Grace, called Shields. It still had some really fab bars and clubs and I had an amazing time, it was such a laugh again! I wore this stripy dress from Topshop which I am absolutely in LOVE with. I think the shape is so flattering, I rarely buy things from Topshop (you guys know I'm more of a Primark gal) but I really couldn't resist this! I wore the same heels again as they're the only ones I had brought with me, but again I think they match perfectly.

The next day we went to see the beach, and got an ice cream which was really lovely. On Monday it was time for me to go, Grace and I went shopping in Newcastle city centre, where I attempted to buy some things for my sisters' birthdays. We went to Revolution for lunch which was so lovely, and I didn't realise some of their menu is 50% off on Mondays which made it even better! Then I made the long journey back to Nottingham.

I had the BEST time ever in Newcastle visiting Grace, I loved meeting all of her family and friends and seeing the town, I can't wait to visit again in the Summer!

Have you ever visited Newcastle before? What did you think? <3

Thanks for reading as always!

Jumper - New Look
Skirt - Matalan
Bag - Accessorize
Shoes - Boohoo
Scarf - Primark
Jacket - Fashion Union
Coat - H&M

As some of you will know (if you read my last blogpost) I went to Amsterdam last weekend! So I was there this time last week *cries*. I had the best time ever. Like, ever ever ever. It was so much better than I even expected (and trust me I was expecting it to be good). We went by coach which took about 14 hours, which was so long but also clearly so worth it. We left on Thursday night at 9pm and arrived at about 2 on Friday afternoon. We visited the Anne Frank house first at about 3, I absolutely loved it, it was a bit emotional in parts, seeing the actual bookcase they kept in front of the door was upsetting, but I'm so glad we went. Then we all went out for a meal, and that night we visited the red light district and went on a pub crawl. The red light district was weird, but definitely something I'm glad I've seen.

The Saturday was our only proper full day there, we had breakfast in the hostel, and then headed out into Amsterdam. We went to a few cafes and then we visited the sex museum (which was pretty strange), after that we walked around for a bit longer and just explored the city, although it did rain for the majority of the time we were there, we had a quick walk around vondel park as well. We came back to the hostel and bought some dinner, and then got ready for the second pub crawl which was so much fun! So many free drinks and shots, I loved it!

We then had to leave at 9 the next morning (which was a struggle) to go on the 14 hour journey home. Overall, I honestly had the best time ever, I made some amazing friends over the weekend and we all had such a laugh together, I can't remember the last time I laughed so much in a weekend! We all had so many inside jokes and I'm so glad I went. I would definitely visit Amsterdam again, it's such a beautiful city, and would probably look even prettier without the rain. If you ever get the opportunity to go, then definitely do!

I went to Leeds festival this year after wanting to go for the past two years, Hannah and I left it quite last minute to actually buy our tickets and get organised (we got them the week before) but I'm so glad we went because I genuinely had the best time of my life, so I thought I'd show you guys a few pictures and a few of the outfits I wore too!

(Outfit details in my last blogpost - classy mugshot there)
These lanyards cost us £10 which looking back was probably a bit of a rip off but I think they looked pretty cool and are a nice little memoir of the weekend.

Standard festival neon facepaint. Some girl near the toilets did this for us, I wish we took our own as well as some glitter because that would have looked so good!

Random friend we made and decided to take a selfie with, this was at Relentless which me and Hannah discovered by accident. It was outside under the trees and they played DJ sets which was so much fun, they had sets from DJ Fresh and Zane Lowe and it went on until 3 every morning (our tent was right near it so I never got any sleep until then).

Hannah and I at Relentless after being soaked from the rain.

Headpiece - Claire's

Hannah did my hair and I think it looked aaaaawesome.

Lakshmi, Hannah and I, I love this picture I think we all look so happy.

We saw Disclosure instead of seeing the main headliners Blink 182 and they were INSANE. Probably one of the best nights of my life, such a good atmosphere and my friend Nic let me go on his shoulders at one point which was incredible to see everything from such a high point, it was just so much fun and I'm so glad we chose to see them.

Bumbag - New Look
Headband - Primark

I think this headband looks so festivally and can't believe it's only £2 from Primark! Loved wearing this playsuit although wearing white may not have been the best idea.

Bucket hat craze! So many people there were wearing them, not sure I pull one off myself.

Vampire Weekend were AH-MAY-ZING.

Paramore were amazing too, I was so torn between seeing them or Courteeners but I'd already seen Courteeners live before and Paramore have always been a favourite of mine, I'm so glad I finally got the chance to see them live!

Playsuit - New Look
Kimono - Asda
Bumbag - New Look
Sunglasses - Primark

Jake Bugg was obviously amazing too. Nottingham REPRESENT.

I don't even wanna talk about Arctic Monkeys. I like them and everything but have never been a hardcore fan but WOW. I have never felt more in love with Alex Turner than I did in those moments. He has such an amazing stage presence, and although I got pushed over and burst into tears, it was such an amazing night and so good to see them play live again. He played the end of R U Mine? 3 times before finally leaving the stage. Definitely a night I will always remember.

There was also a silent disco every night which we went to a few times which was loads of fun! I can't wait to go to another one during freshers at university!

Overall I had the best weekend of my life, it was just so hilarious in parts and I spent it with the best people I could have possibly spent it with. I saw so many incredible acts such as The Kooks, Clean Bandit, SBTRKT, Metronomy (which we were at the very front for!!), Peace, Vampire Weekend, Jake Bugg, Arctic Monkeys, Paramore, Aluna George, Sigma, Disclosure, and I'm sure there were more I've forgotten. We were so lucky with the weather as it hardly rained, and although it got freezing cold at night and I'm so tired now from the lack of sleep we had, I've made some memories for life there and can definitely say I'll be returning again next year!
